Abstract Harmonic Analysis, or Harmonic Analysis on Groups, is a discipline rooted in the classic theme of spectral analysis and synthesis of functions that identifies and exploits the relevance of the underlying group structure that pervades the whole theory through representations and measures.
Abstract Harmonic Analysis has grown a strong relationship with other neighboring disciplines such as Functional Analysis, Representation Theory or Group Theory.
Due to this mixed character, experts in Abstract Harmonic Analysis can often be found scattered among Research Groups with different flavors. The purpose of this series of workshops is to gather a group of researchers with an interest in abstract Harmonic Analysis around speakers with experience in this field.
